Township Hall Rental
At the Township Offices, we have rental facilities to accommodate up to 400 people. A kitchen, pop machine, heat, air condiitioning, tables and chairs are available. Please see Rental Information for more details.
Township Services
Many of the services the Township provides are listed below. If you have additional questions, please contact our office.
The township has three cemeteries. Pine Grove Cemetery is located at Tuscola and Lewis Road. Newton/Compau Cementer is on Millington Road just west of Bray Road. Gunnell Cemetery is on Squires Road south of Birch Run Road. Contact township offices for opening/closing costs. Foundations for grave markers must be poured by our sextons so call township for prices.

Township Building Department
Site plan required for buildings and ponds. Measurements from or to property lines, center line of road and location to other buildings on the property. Contact the Tim Anderson for details. 989-395-3522. See permits for additional information.
Police
The Township contracts with the Tuscola County Sheriff's Department for 40 hours a week police coverage.
Fire
The Millington-Arbela Fire Department (joint venture) is stationed in Millington.

Dog Licenses
Dog licenses are no longer sold at the Township Office. Please see the Tuscola County Treasurer for more information.

Sexton
Deborah Cerasoli — John Gunnels. Opening/closing cost $450 for vault and $150 for cremains. Contact the Township Office for scheduling of headstone foundations or alterations of graves.
Legal Notices
All legal notices, etc. will be published in the Tuscola County Advertiser.
Garbage
Weekly pick up takes place on Mondays (Holiday Pickup will be a day late). All trash MUST BE OUT BY 7:00 A.M. to ensure pick up. Trash services are provided by GFL Environmental. Large Items will be picked up on your regular trash day. Tires or building materials will NOT be picked up. Caro Recycling (989-672-1673) takes tires all year for a fee.

Bi-weekly on Monday.
